Spicy green culture. Greens are used fresh, dried, and salted and as a seasoning for canned vegetables. Gives food a pleasant aroma and fortifies it. The optimum temperature for growth is 18-22 degrees C, seedlings are sensitive to frost. Moisture-demanding plant but does not tolerate flooding.
